Janice has been riding horses since she was three years old and has been fox hunting in the Culpeper area for ten years. Alfredo grew up in Mexico and brings his experience of managing the family's prosperous leather manufacturing business to JANAL Leather.

A business trip during fox hunting season brought Alfredo up to Culpeper. Here, Janice and Alfredo met and soon decided to build a business together. Thus, JANAL Leather was created.

JANAL Leather imports its leather from Spain and creates fashions in Mexico through Alfredo's family connection.

"Everything in our store is probably 40% less than other retail stores because we get it directly from the factory," says Janice, "Because of Alfredo's contacts and his family, we get the best prices."
